Who may use FourVault
A parent or legal guardian creates and owns the account and agrees to these terms. Children use the app through profiles the parent creates. A child cannot open an account, cannot make a purchase, and cannot change a safety setting on their own.
What FourVault is
A place for a child to photograph trading cards, build a vault, follow what those cards are worth, and get an educational opinion on whether a proposed trade looks fair.
Card values are estimates, not appraisals
Values shown are estimates. On the free tier, values for cards outside our verified sets are labelled as estimates that are not market verified, and you should treat them that way. A trade verdict is an educational opinion for a child to learn from. Neither is financial advice, and neither is a guarantee of what anyone will pay.
No loot boxes, ever
FourVault contains no loot boxes and no randomised paid mechanics. Cosmetic items are purchased one at a time, deliberately, behind a parental gate. This is a product commitment, not a current configuration.
Purchases
Purchases are billed by your app store, not by us, and every purchase sits behind a parental gate. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you manage or cancel them in your app store settings. Deleting your FourVault account does not cancel app store billing.
Content a child types
Short text such as card nicknames and vault names passes through content moderation before it is saved. We may remove content that fails moderation. Trades and friend connections between children are subject to the parental controls in the app.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload images you have no right to upload.
- Do not attempt to reach another family's data.
- Do not use FourVault to conduct real-money transactions between users. It has no such feature.
Availability and accuracy
FourVault is provided as is. We work to keep recognition and valuation reasonable, but we do not warrant that a recognition result, an estimate, or a trade verdict is correct, and we do not warrant uninterrupted service.
Ending your use
A parent may delete a child profile or the whole account at any time, from within the app or by emailing us. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or endangers a child.
